Einleitung
This guide will teach you how to replace the roller brush and driver belt from your Sanitaire SC684 vacuum cleaner. Sanitaire recommends replacing the roller brush once a year and the belt every six months, to ensure that your vacuum will continue to work optimally.This is a relatively simple procedure that does not require any special skills or tools. These two components are connected, allowing them to be removed at the same time. Reassembly is the same process as removal, reversing the steps.

Find the metal plate (located directly in the center).

Locate the two latches on either side of the metal plate.

Detach the latches by pulling them away from metal plate.

Identify the belt and brush roller.

The belt is a black ring made of rubber.

The brush roller is the long metal tube with bristles attached to it.

Remove the belt from the circular knob by inserting your fingers on either side, gently lifting towards you.

Pull brush roller out and slip the belt off from the indent in the middle of the roller.
