Remove the display assembly

  • Remove the display assembly.

  • You will have to carefully thread the replacement assembly's display cable through the motherboard cutout. If you are having trouble, you can always loosen and partially remove the motherboard.

  • Follow this guide for instructions on how to apply adhesive to the replacement display assembly.

  • Be sure to test your repairs before you affix the display assembly with adhesives.

  • If you are using Tesa tape to reattach the assembly, follow this guide.

  • During the boot-up process after reassembly, the display assembly will go through a calibration sequence. Do not touch the display assembly during this process, as it could result in improper touch calibration and create touch issues.

Du musst das Kabel des Ersatzdisplays sorgfältig durch den Ausschnitt in der Hauptplatine führen. Wenn du dabei Schwierigkeiten hast, kannst du die Hauptplatine lösen und teilweise entfernen

Wenn du einen vorgestanzten Klebestreifen verwendest, dann zeigt dir diese Anleitung , wie sie am Ersatzdisplay befestigt werden.

Teste unbedingt deine Reparatur, bevor du das Display wieder verklebst.

Wenn du das Display mit Tesaband befestigst, dann benutze diese Anleitung.

Während des ersten Neustarts nach der Reparatur durchläuft das Display eine Kalibriersequenz. Berühre es dabei nicht, es könnte ungenau kalibriert werden und nicht mehr richtig funktionieren.
