  • Smartphone glass has become increasingly shatter-resistant in recent years, but generally at the expense of scratch resistance. Will this new formula scratch at a level 6 with deeper grooves at level 7?

Zuletzt kommen die beiden AMOLED-Displays aus ihren metallnen Hüllen. Und hinter ihnen finden wir das Kupfer, nach dem wir gesucht haben.

Samsung hat seine Displays lange Zeit mit Kupfer überzogen, um Hitze besser zu verteilen, das ist hier immer noch so. Trotz des Wechsels zu Graphit unter dem Motherboard.

Die beiden Smartphones teilen sich den Codenamen Canvas. Nicht ganz so clever wie das Davinci letztes Jahr, aber immer noch passend.

Auf der Rückseite der Displays sitzt ein integrierter Ultraschall-Fingerabdrucksensor. Von vorne wird das Display von Cornings neuem Gorilla Glass Victus beschützt, das "zum ersten Mal in der Gorilla Glas Familie eine signifikante Verbesserung des Schutzes vor Stürzen und Kratzern" verspricht.

Smartphoneglas wurde in den letzten Jahren immer resistenter gegen Stürze, meist auf Kosten der Anfälligkeit gegenüber Kratzer. Wird das hier anders sein?
