  • Set the multimeter to continuity test mode.

  • The setting is symbolized by a "volume indicator" as seen in the picture. If the meter is set to the correct mode, you should hear the meter beep when the leads are touched together.

  • Verify that the positive lead is plugged to the voltmeter/ ohmmeter outlet.

Ziehe die Leitung sowohl aus der Steckdose als auch aus dem entsprechenden Gerät, z.B der Spielkonsole. Alles andere könnte sehr gefährlich sein und sogar zu einem Stromschlag führen.

Stelle das Multimeter auf Durchgangsprüfung.

Bei dem Gerät imBild ist die Einstellung durch ein Lautsprechersymbol gekennzeichnet. Das Multimeter piept, wenn man die Messleitungen verbindet.

Schaue nach ob die Messleitungen richtig stecken, die schwarze im COM , die rote im Volt/Ohm Bereich.
