Remove the battery cable

  • If your replacement battery doesn’t come with a cable preinstalled, you’ll have to transfer your original cable to the new battery.

  • Take care not to puncture or bend the battery—it can leak dangerous chemicals and/or catch fire.

  • Flip the battery over and lay it on a clean working surface.

  • Use one hand to secure the battery.

  • Use your other hand to firmly pull the battery connector out of its socket on the bottom edge of the battery.

  • Remove the battery cable from its recess between the two battery cells.

  • During reassembly, transfer the battery cable to your new battery, making sure the cable is snug between the battery cells.

Akkukabel entfernen

Wenn dein Austauschakku nicht mit einem vorinstallierten Kabel geliefert wird, musst du dein Originalkabel auf den neuen Akku übertragen.

Achte darauf, dass du den Akku nicht durchstichst oder verbiegst - es können gefährliche Chemikalien austreten und/oder er kann sich entzünden.

Drehe den Akku um und lege ihn auf eine saubere Arbeitsfläche.

Benutze eine Hand, um den Akku festzuhalten.

Ziehe mit der anderen Hand den Stecker des Akkus fest aus seinem Anschluss an der Unterkante des Akkus heraus.

Entferne das Akkukabel aus seiner Aussparung zwischen den beiden Akkuzellen.

Übertrage beim Wiederzusammenbau das Akkukabel auf deinen neuen Akku und achte darauf, dass das Kabel fest zwischen den Akkuzellen sitzt.
