Locate the oil filter. It is just below the exhaust manifold near the center line of the engine. Move the oil drain pan so that it will catch any oil that may drip down when you remove the oil filter.

  • Move the oil drain pan so that it will catch any oil that may drip down when you remove the oil filter.

  • Place a rag or towel under the oil filter to absorb the oil that will leak out when you remove the filter.

  • Be careful if the engine has been running recently. The engine and exhaust manifold may be very hot.

Suche den Ölfilter. Er befindet sich direkt unter dem Auspuffkrümmer nahe der Mittellinie des Motors.

Platziere den Ölauffangbehälter so, dass dieser auslaufendes Öl beim Entfernen des Ölfilters auffängt.

Halte einen Lappen oder ein Handtuch unter den Ölfilter, um zusätzlich auslaufendes Öl beim Entfernen des Filters aufzusaugen.

Sollte der Motor vor dem Wechsel schon gelaufen sein, musst du darauf achten, dass Teile des Motors oder des Auspuffes möglicherweise noch sehr heiß sind.
