Turn off your Surface Book and detach the display. Heat and apply an iOpener or use a hair dryer or heat gun to heat the perimeter of the display, in order to soften the glue securing it. Use a suction cup or iSclack or pull up on the edge of the display, and create a slight gap between the display glass and the frame.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap.

  • Use only gentle force with the pick, and keep the display very hot (slightly too hot to touch). If you use too much force and/or allow the glue to harden, the glass will crack.

Schalte das Surface Book aus und trenne das Display ab.

Lege einen erhitzten iOpener auf, oder nutze einen Haarfön oder Heißluftgebläse, um den Rand des Displays zu erwärmen. Das weicht den Kleber auf, der das Displayglas festhält.

Nutze einen Saugnapf oder iSclack, oder ziehe eine Ecke des Displays nach oben, um einen leichten Spalt zwischen Displayglas und dem Rahmen zu erzeugen.

Schiebe ein Plektrum in den Spalt.

Übe nur leichte Kraft mit dem Plektrum aus und halte das Display sehr heiß (etwas zu heiß zum Anfassen). Wenn Du zuviel Kraft ausübst und/oder der Kleber hart wird, wird das Glas brechen.
