  • The front side of the board is almost as bare. A single chip, some passive components, and some contact patches for the buttons.

  • These buttons act just like many remote controls, when pressed, the button bridges the gap between the conductive paint, completing a circuit—making Mario do something cool!

Auf zum Bonuslevel: Controller Teardown!

Die Schrauben des Controllers sind schon sichtbar und werden nicht von Gummi oder ähnlichem abgedeckt. Im Inneren finden wir eine kahle Platine mit einem einzigen Anschluss.

Das Kabel ist leicht in den Controller gefädelt, wodurch etwas Spiel gewährleistet wird, welches den Kabelanschluss bei Gebrauch etwas von Krafteinwirkung entlastet.

Die Vorderseite der Platine sieht fast genauso leer aus wie die Rückseite—ein einzelner Chip und ein paar Kontaktstellen für die Knöpfe

Diese Knöpfe funktionieren genauso wie die der meisten Fernbedienungen. Drückt man einen Knopf wird eine Lücke im leitenden Lack überbrückt und dadurch ein Stromkreis geschlossen, wodurch Mario irgendetwas cooles macht!
