Einleitung
This guide demonstrates how to replace an Air Intake for 2014 Buick Encore. An air filter of the car is used to catch dirt or debris to have a clean air flow to the engine. A clean filter increases the lifespan and reliability of an engine. Replacing an air filter in the air intake regularly is very important to prevent inefficiency and maintain the car's performance. A clean air filter also provides for better fuel economy.
The part used to replace the air filter is: STP SA11501.

Pull the hood release latch under the steering wheel on driver's side.

Push the hood latch with your thumb of your right hand.

Lift the hood with your left hand to open the hood.

Remove the two 5 mm screws from the air filter cover with a Phillips #2 Screwdriver.

Place the cover back to original place.

Make sure the hinges on the right side secure the cover.

Remove the hood prop from the hole.

Secure the hood prop with the hood prop clip.
-
Close the hood.
