This guide will show you how to replace your 2018 Kia Sportage Cabin Air Filter. Air filters are an important part of an air conditioning system, as they can keep air clean and fresh. It is also important for maintaining a properly functioning air conditioning system. Kia recommends replacing the cabin air filter every 10,000 miles in extreme conditions, or 15,000 to 30,000 miles in typical driving conditions. Kia also recommends replacing the cabin air filter with original Kia cabin air filters such as the Kia (D9H79-AK000), but there are many other options such as the Premium Guard PC99155 and the ECOGARD XC10490.

Open the glove box on the passenger side of the car.

Empty any items out of the glove box.

Twist the two circular knobs on the side walls of the glove box until they come loose.

Pull out the knobs and set them somewhere safe.

Carefully disconnect the latch on the right side of the glove box by pulling the latch away from the main glove box.

Pinch the left side of the filter cover.

Pull the filter cover towards the passenger seat to open it.
