ASUS ROG G46VW Speaker Replacement

The speaker will come off with the speaker cover, but it is not necessary to follow this guide to continue disassembly of the device.

    • Gently pry the back hinge cover piece away from the device.

    • Disconnect the speaker cable from the motherboard.

    • Remove the four screws using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

    • Remove the speaker from the device.

    • One of the screws may be hidden underneath the barcode sticker.
