Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove:
Eight 9 mm screws.
Four 5 mm screws.

Remove the keyboard cover panel by using a plastic opening tool to carefully pop off the clips around the perimeter.
Be cautious when pulling off the cover because there are cables you will have to disconnect before completely removing the panel.

The keyboard cover panel is connected to the motherboard with ribbons; be careful not to damage them.
Lift the keyboard cover carefully.
Disconnect the keyboard and touch-pad ribbons using tweezers.
