Over time your Acer Aspire 5100 laptop’s fan may stop working and you will need to replace. This guide will help you replace your broken fan with four simple steps. Do not forget to unplug your laptop and remove the battery for your personal safety before starting.

  1. Flip over the laptop.

    • Remove the four screws attached to the large panel.

  4. Remove the two screws attached to the fan.
