Acer Aspire AS3810TZ-4806 Trackpad Replacement

For this guide you will need a phillips screwdriver. Make sure your laptop is completely powered off and the battery is removed. Remove the RAM and Hard drive before starting this guide.

    • Unlock the battery release by sliding it to the right.

    • Slide the release button and remove the battery.

    • Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, unscrew the ten screws securing the back panel.

    • Remove the two black connectors at the base of the screen.

    • Remove the grey keyboard cover with a spudger.

    • Unscrew the trackpad sensor from the keyboard cover and remove the sensor.
