If your Acer Chromebook Spin 11 (Model R751TN-C5P3) is not illuminating a clear picture on the screen, is pixelated, or is not exhibiting any visuals at all, use this guide to replace the LCD screen. The LCD screen serves to produce the visual component of the device. A faulty LCD screen will not produce a clear picture or may not even produce a picture at all.
Some other common issues that may cause this problem is overheating and low battery. Check this by carefully feeling your device for excess heat and ensuring that your power cord is properly charging your device before use.
Before beginning, make sure that the device is completely powered off to avoid further damaging the device or harming yourself with heated components within the interior of the device.

Separate screen casing using a nylon spudger and a metal spudger.

Peel the tape back.

Lift the red bar laying across the connection with the spudger.

Pull the connection out.

Disconnect the two cords shown by gently pulling them apart near their connection point.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order with new LCD screen.
