Einleitung
Diese Anleitung beschreibt, wie man den Bluetooth-Lautsprecher Anker SoundCore mini auseinanderbaut. Einmal zerlegt lassen sich einzelne Teile sehr leicht austauschen.
Was du brauchst

Entferne den Gummi-Standfuß am Boden.

Entferne die 3 Schrauben.

Ziehe vorsichtig am unteren Gehäuseteil, um das Gehäuse zu öffnen.

Hierfür kann ein Schlitzschraubenzieher, eine Plastikkarte o.Ä. zum Öffnen am Schlitz angesetzt werden, da die Kabel im Inneren mit Verschlusspaste fixiert sind.

Wenn sich ein Spalt öffnet, entferne

den roten Batteriekabelstecker und den weißen Lautsprecherkabelstecker (rote Pfeile) durch Zug am Kabel bzw. Stecker und

das Kabel des seitlichen Lautstärke-/Play-Kontrollfelds, indem du die schwarze Lasche (grüner Pfeil) nach oben ziehst und anschließend das Kabel nach oben herausziehst,

um den Teil mit der Hauptplatine vom Lautsprecher- & Batterieteil zu trennen.

Entferne die 4 Schrauben und nimm die Hauptplatine aus dem unteren Gehäuseteil.

Bemerkung: Die Abdeckung des An-/Aus-Schalters ist weder im Gehäuse noch an der Platine fixiert. Beim Wiederanbringen achte auf die korrekte Positionierung der Schalterabdeckung.

Entferne die 4 Schrauben.

Entferne die gehäuseinterne Abtrennung durch Ziehen. Beginne hierbei gegenüber des flachen Kabels der seitlichen Lautsprecher-/Play-Kontrollleiste.

Arbeite vorsichtig, da das Flachkabel noch auf der anderen Seite fixiert ist und die interne Abtrennung deshalb nicht komplett entfernt werden kann, bis das Kabel auf der anderen Seite ausgesteckt ist.

Du kannst bei der Entfernung einen Schlitzschraubenzieher, eine Plastikkarte o.Ä. an den Laschen (grüne Pfeile) ansetzen.
This construction is really very unfriendly to repair.. I didnt want to risk removing the connector for the volume cable as I couldnt see how I can install it again without removing all the glue holding it in place in both parts of the housing. I was able to get to and remove the battery without bothering though.

Entferne den Akku vorsichtig durch Ziehen daran (er ist auf das Gehäuse des darunterliegenden Lautsprechers geklebt).
Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a replacement battery ? I have searched far and wide and cant find one.
Failing that can someone give me the approximate dimensions of the battery and connector type so I can search for a generic one ( I assume it is Lithium Ion 3.7V
I find AliExpress is the place to go for replacement batteries, just keep searching away, plugging in the relevant dimensions. Typically, 3.7v is the voltage but connectors may be a problem. You may have to recycle the original ones, soldering them onto the new battery. What I recommend is first disassembling the unit and extracting the battery; only then start searching for a replacement battery. That way if you botch the disassembly you won't get stuck with an orphaned battery.

Entferne das Flachkabel, indem du die schwarze Lasche (grüner Pfeil) nach oben und anschließend das Kabel herausziehst. Entferne anschließend die innere Abtrennung mit dem Flachkabel.

Ziehe die Kontrollleiste vom Inneren des Gehäuses heraus.
Can't pull out the volume/play switch control panel from the inner side of the casing. Because the casing has 2 side, that cover up the volume/play switch control panel from the inner side of the casing.

Zum Zusammenbauen des Geräts die Schritte dieser Anleitung rückwärts ausführen.
Beim Zusammenbau darauf achten, dass
- die Steckverbindungen alle richtig angeschlossen sind
- Lautsprecher- und Batteriekabel an den richtigen Stellen durch die interne Abtrennung geführt werden (und korrekt auf der Platine eingesteckt werden)
- die Abdeckung des An-/Aus-Schalters im Gehäuse richtig positioniert ist, wenn die Platine montiert wird.
Um die gleiche Klangqualität wie zuvor sicherzustellen ist es evtl. nötig, die Kabeldurchführungen im Inneren des Gehäuses zu Verschließen. Falls nötig, könnte hierfür Heißkleber oder Versiegelungspaste/-wachs o.Ä. genutzt werden.

Re- the On/Off button - the article talks about getting it in the right position, but the right place seems to be missing. The red goes on the right.
Currently got mine in pieces waiting for it to dry out after it fell in the bath. Fingers crossed as it did seem to work still, just that you also got to hear the Bluetooth module along with your sound!
What kind of battery does this unit use? Ours won’t hold a charge anymore, and if it takes an easily obtained battery type, I’d gladly open it up and replace it.
1800mah 3.7v 6.7wh li-po battery. Not sure if the li-po batteries are too big when they're that size, as Anker produce their own batteries. I've bought a li-po, so I'll report back with info.

Battery markings indicate that it is a PT103450 6.6 WH, 1800 mah, though this seems to be a lie.. it is a 4cm by 4cm square and 1cm thick, which makes the correct marking 104040, not sure why this is different.

Hello, for some reason the speaker popped and I checked the rubber around it and it's fine. The speaker has only been used for 2 months and wanted to precise a replacement speaker part. Could you please tell me what size speaker or part number I need to purchase?
Does anybody know whether I can remove the battery entirely, reassemble (with no battery) and power the speaker by keeping it plugged into a USB supply?
I have one of these where the battery is dead, but I don't need the battery. If I could power it via USB, but without the battery (to avoid the unnecessary risk of the battery ballooning/catching fire) that would be great.
You can feel the depressions where the 3 screws are, then if you pull back the rubber just where necessary you can remove the screws while leaving the rubber in place.

Similarly, I just penetrated the rubber with the screwdriver in the locations of the screws. Won’t notice a slightly ripped up rubber foot, but might well notice if it’s loose or gone completely.

Careful with pulling the plugs as the plastic slots can come off. They’re basically just held in place with a funny blob of glue. Not the end of the world if it does as I imagine you can fix them back into place, but definitely nicer to avoid!

I found 2 points here that occured to me.. When pulling the lower part.. the inner plastic core of the entire speaker came down from the outer aluminum housing.. I found that the only thing holding that in beyond a little friction was the rubber covering of the volume and play buttons.. Not sure what if anything was supposed to prevent this.
Also the lower part took quite a bit of force for me to remove. Dont be agressive, but apply constant force for some time and you will see it slowly seperate. Using a plastic card seemed to help for me, "plastic card here was an old phone protector plastic film that i keep around for exactly this. After i see a gap, i used a small screwdriver to lever the rest of it loose rather than pulling, so I dont risk pulling at the cables.
