This guide walks the reader through the process of removing the card/battery latch in order to replace it. There are no prerequisite guides necessary to remove the latch.

Open the Card/Battery latch by sliding the cover away from the camera in the direction indicated by the arrow.

Gently rotate latch 90 degrees either clockwise or counterclockwise then remove it.
