Schritt 1 Remove battery and base cover

Before performing this task, make sure you turn off the computer and disconnect every external drive from it, whether it's a USB drive, power charger, or wireless adapter.
Remove battery and base cover from the computer.

Schritt 2 Open retention clips

Open the retention clips away from the memory chip.

Schritt 3 Remove memory chip

Remove the memory chip from the computer.

Schritt 4 New memory chip

Put a new memory chip in the memory socket.

Schritt 5 Push in memory clips; second chip installed

Push the memory chip until the clips lock it. If a second memory chip needs to be installed, repeat steps 1 through 6.

Schritt 6 Replace pre-removal parts

Replace the pre-removal parts in descending order.

Schritt 7 Install battery and base cover

Install the battery and base cover back on the computer.

Abschluss

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
