Since older Lenovo are identical to open just look for an older model in case you have a brand new Lenovo and the hardware manual is not free availabe for download (very unusual).
Why would you edit and black-out the ASM, FRU and SN under the barcode of the battery sticker ?
Are you afraid someone is going to hack into your bank account or something with this info ?
There is nothing secret about these info that are written on the battery sticker.
These 3 codes are just there to identity the battery for process reasons and also in case it goes bad before warranty expires and you need to send the original battery back to the manufacturer.
Thanks for the guide.
