The Dyson brushbar power button is located in between the handle and the dust bin on the front of the vacuum.

Gently pull up on red handle to separate the hose from the external hose of the Dyson.

Locate and push the grey button (where the index finger is pointing) while simultaneously pulling up on the handle.

Pull on the plastic case below the power and brush bar buttons to separate it from the Dyson.
