This camera runs on 4 AA batteries. Let's learn how to replace them. This is the simplest maintenance task that you will perform on this camera.

  1. Turn the camera upside down so you can access the battery chamber.

  3. Push the battery chamber latch in the direction of the front of the camera.  Keeping tension on the latch, slide the battery chamber cover toward the outside of the camera, opening the battery chamber.

  4. With the battery chamber open, remove the old batteries.

    • When replacing the batteries, remember that the battery orientation is shown by the + and - marks. Each mark indicates which side of the battery faces up in the chamber.

Insert your new batteries, close the battery chamber, and you're done!
