This important component is charged through the little circular shiny batteries. This guide is on how to remove those batteries and replace them with new ones.

Turn off the computer and flip it over onto a flat surface.
Remove battery by sliding the battery lock.
Remove the 10 screws

Flip the computer back over and use the iFixit tool in order to pry the keyboard from the bottom of the computer.
Once off you will be able to see the mother board battery.
Remove the battery.
The battery should be able to be easily removed just by hand
