How to replace the RAM on an HP ProBook 440 G1.

    • Make sure the laptop is turned off before you start.

    • Push and hold the release tab on the right and left toward the center.

    • Pull the battery out.

    • Push and hold the release tabs on the right and left toward the center again.

    • Slide the backplate off.

    • Locate the RAM, in the middle of the laptop near the battery.

    • Push the two metal tabs on either side of the RAM stick out.

    • The RAM stick will pop up slightly.

    • Remove the RAM stick.
