    • Turn the lid counterclockwise.

    • Lift the bowl scraping mechanism up and out of the bowl.

    • Gently lift the blade mechanism from the top black piece.

    • Make sure there are no broken parts or pieces in the bowl. If there are, make sure the bowl and scraping mechanism are not damaged.
