Lay the vacuum flat on the ground, then flip it over 180 degrees so that you can see the inside of the wheel.

Locate the small metal pin and bolt holding the wheel in place.

Take the needle nose pliers and stick them in the rectangular hole.
With the pliers, firmly grasp the metal pin that holds the bolt for the wheel in place.
Slide the pin off the bolt by pushing the pliers forward.
Carefully remove the pin from the rectangular hole and keep it in a safe place.

Now, remove the wheel by pulling it away from the vacuum.
The bolt will come out with the wheel since the pin is gone.
