Before rushing out to replace your iPhone SE Lightning Connector try this simple cleaning option.
My iPhone SE Lightning Connector had been in for repair under warranty 3 times and clearly never been replaced. During the replacement of my Lightning Connector I could see the phone had never been opened.
Unfortunately the replacement Lightning Connector didn’t work either, so thinking I had nothing to lose I set about trying to fix the old one. And it worked!

Using the fine tweezers; carefully remove the build up of fluff and other debris from the Lightning Connector opening. I was really shocked how much was in there.

After having cleared out the Lightning Connector opening carefully apply contact cleaner. It may not be a bad idea to mask off the rest of the phone before doing this. My Lightning Connector had been removed from the phone so it wasn't a problem I had to deal with.

Do this outside if possible as contact cleaner stinks!
