    • Before starting, make sure to turn off the camera and remove the battery.

    • Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove the five outermost screws from the camera.

    • Remove the front panel of the camera case to expose the top left ribbon cable. Pull the ribbon cable gently to disconnect it from the camera.

    • Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver remove the single screw on the far left-hand side towards the bottom of the camera.

    • Carefully pull the case apart to separate the 2 pieces.

    • The case will detach from the camera in two pieces.

    • Remove the two screws on the metal plate of the camera case. This will give you access to the spring inside the metal plate for further cleaning.

    • Clean the inside of the camera with a cloth to remove dust and excess grime. This should unstick the shutter button and allow for full function.
