macOS Catalina auf nicht unterstützten Mac installieren

Einleitung

Installiere eine gepatchte Version von macOS Catalina auf dem deinem alten iMac, sodass dieser nicht obsolet wird.

Beachte, dass das Installieren von zukünftigen macOS Catalina Updates nicht vom Patching Tool unterstütz wird, du musst wieder einen neuen USB-Stick erstellen und den Prozess erneut durchführen.

Was du brauchst

  1. macOS Catalina auf nicht unterstützten Mac installieren, Patching Tool herunterladen: Schritt 1, Bild 1 von 1

    • Der macOS Catalina Patcher kann von https://dosdude1.com/catalina geladen werden.

    • Bevor du beginnst, solltest du sicherstellen, dass dein Gerät unterstützt wird. Schaue dazu unter dem Tab "System Compatibility" auf der Seite. Die meisten 2008 bis 2011 Macs sind mit diesem Tool kompatibel.

    • macOS Catalina Catcher ist ein Drittanbieter Tool, das von dosdude1 entwickelt wurde, seiner Entwicklung wird vertraut, das Tool gibt es bereits auch schon für macOS Sierra.

    Übersetzen

    • Wenn das Patching Tool heruntergeladen ist, kannst du die DMG mounten, indem du das Tool öffnest.

    • In der virtuellen Festplatte must du rechts auf macOS Catalina Patcher klicken und auf Öffnen klicken.

    • Wenn du eine Fehlermeldung erhältst, in welcher steht, das Apple nicht das Programm auf Viren testen kann, dann wähle Schließen und öffne die Einstellungen und gehe auf Sicherheit und Privatsphäre und entsperre den Allgemein-Tab mit dem Schloss unten rechts. Wähle dann "Trotzdem öffnen".

    Übersetzen

    • Klicke dich durch die Menüs bist du die Seite macOS Installer App erreichst.

    • Wähle hier Download a Copy um Catalina von den offiziellen Apple-Servern zu laden.

    • Wähle Start Download.

    • Wenn du dazu aufgefordert wirst, dann musst du Zugriff auf den Download-Ordner gewähren.

    • Der Download ist ca. 8GB groß und dauert je nach Internetgeschwindigkeit und Gerät einige Zeit.

Hi, the Catalina install doesn’t work for me on a MBP early 2011. Have tried all of the three install alternatives.

Hi there, I’m successfully running Catalina on an 8,1 iMac from 2008, so sweet! Only problem is that I can’t install some apps, like iWork/Pages or GarageBand. Is there any workaround for me to install Pages, especially? I hadn’t owned it before, so that option wouldn’t work for me.

Installed Catalina 10.15.7 (using dosdude) but MacBook no longer recognizes the battery, doesn't show battery indicator etc. I've tried all the usual tricks, but am thinking it is a software problem ???

You need to create a new macOS USB and format the hard drive and install it new. You can also try to start the old internet recovery. But it maybe macOS Mountain Lion or Lion.

Con su artículo publicado he logrado instalar catalina sin problema en mi macbook pro 8.2 (late 2011). Sólo queda un pequeño detalle y este está relacionado con el navegador Google Chrome. Gracias

Quel est la problématique avec Google Chrome ? Je souhaite installer cette mise à jour exclusivement car Chrome n'est plus compatible avec mon OS.

Hi, thank you so much for posting this tutorial, I successfully installed Catalina on a iMac from 2009! I only use it for iTunes and to watch Netflix. However, I cannot install Chrome at all, which means it's still difficult to run some sites such as Netflix. After downloading and installing Chrome, I get the following message when opening the app 'Chrome closed inadvertently'. I successfully run Mozilla Firefox but Chrome is impossible to run. Anybody knows how to overcome this challenge :-) ? Thanks a lot!
