Blood has a way of finding its way on just about any and everything, and your favourite satin pieces are no exception. Don't write off these items just yet, though! In this guide, we'll show you how to make blood stains vanish from satin with a few products you probably already have in your house.
They say to keep your head forward when a nosebleed strikes, and with this guide, you'll be able to do so confidently knowing that you have what it takes to conquer any stain that may follow!
Before you begin:
- You may want to throw on some gloves and a mask to protect against disease if you're tackling blood stains made by someone else; especially more recent ones.
- For extremely old stains, it's a good idea to soak the fabric for several hours before beginning procedure for better results.
- Know that satin may be mistaken for its fabric relatives, such as silk. Be sure to refer to the information on your fabric's tags or packaging for confirmation, if available.

Dip the stained fabric in bowl of cold water.

Massage the stain while submerged for about 20 seconds to ensure that it is fully saturated.
