This guide shows you how to repair a stripped screw hole on an antique secretary desk. The screw that holds the opening lever won't stay in place because the hole is too big. This guide will show you how to fill the hole, then drill a new hole for the screw. Place the opening lever over the hole. Use a flathead screwdriver to screw it into place. Do not screw in past the threading on the screw; you need some of the screw sticking out to hold the arm in place.
