Make sure you start with a frame thats straight and square. I use a table with cleats at 90 degrees to make sure each frame is correct

Get the spline started in one corner by forcing it in with a flat blade screwdriver

Pre roll the pet screen into the spline groove . Make sure the cloth goes in square and flat. Pull it out and try again if it does not.

Trim off the excess leaving about 2 inches over the frame before rolling the material in. Leaving too much material hanging will prevent the cloth from laying flat and square.

The finished job should look flat and square, the screen bars should not be bowed in.
