LG G Pad X 8.0 Speaker Replacement

Einleitung

This guide will take you through the very easy process of replacing the downward facing speaker that has either died or blown out.

    • Power off the device before starting speaker replacement.

    • Remove SD card and SIM Card.

    • With the opening tool, gently pry the back plate away from the main board. The corners are the easiest spots to start at.

    • Gently pull the back cover away from the adhesive on the battery.

    • It may be possible to use a blow dryer on low heat but I'd advise against it unless absolutely necessary.

    • Remove the the single screw attaching the speaker module to the motherboard.

    • Swap in your new, working speaker.
