The speakers in your Lenovo ThinkBook 15 G2 ITL let you hear music, videos, and alerts. When they stop working correctly, it can make the laptop hard to use.
Common signs of bad speakers include
- Sound is crackling, fuzzy, or distorted
- The volume is up, but you cant hear anything
- The laptop says it's muted, but sound still plays
- Random noises or glitches come from the speakers
If your ThinkBook 15 G2 ITL has any of these issues, the speakers may need to be replaced. This guide will show you how to remove the old speakers and install new ones.
Before beginning, make sure to power off your laptop completely and disconnect from any external power source.
