Remove the eight 14mm screws using the Phillips #0 Screwdriver.

Lift the palm rest panel up.
Be sure to lift the panel slowly; there is a ribbon cable attached to the bottom.

Use the spudger to disconnect the ribbon cable.

Remove the tape, using the spudger if necessary.

Disconnect the clear ribbon cable.

Use the Phillips #0 Screwdriver to remove the screws of the frame around the trackpad circuit board.

Remove the trackpad buttons.
