If you can never seem to connect to the internet or the Wireless LAN Card isn't showing up in your Windows settings, then you may need to replace the Wireless LAN Card in your system.
Your Lenovo Yoga 720-12IKB needs a functioning Wireless LAN Card to be able to connect to the internet. Without the internet it can be difficult to enjoy the laptop to its full capabilities.
While taking out the Wireless LAN Card be mindful of the other components around as you could damage them.

Unscrew and remove the four 5.5 mm Phillips #00 screws on the back panel.

Pull down on the cover to remove it and you will see the battery after removing the cover.

Unscrew and remove the 4.0 mm Phillips #00 screws on the battery to remove it from the motherboard.

On the top right of the system you will find the wireless LAN card. Remove the 3.0 mm Phillips #00 screw.
