Halte den Lautsprecher aufrecht und zwänge einen Metallspatel zwischen Gehäuse und Lautsprecher. Heble die Rasten vorsichtig auf, sie brechen leicht.
This part is not easy. The main risk is to broke the plastics clips.
Use a heat gun (or hair dryer on high) first around the edges before attempting to pry it open. There are six tabs: one directly in line with the charging port; one approx 3/4 inch to the left and right of that tab; one centered against the back of the volume control "panel", and one approx 3/4 inch to either side of that one. So when prying, try to insert your spudger in between those spacings in order to not push on the tabs directly.

Suche den Teil am Gehäuse, der die Lautstärkeregelung abdeckt. Zwänge darunter den Metallspatel ein und Henle alle Rasten auf, so wie im vorigen Schritt.

Wiederhole das am Boden des Lautsprechers. Heble das Gehäuse mit den Fingern auf.

Drehe die vier silberfarbenen 9 mm J0 Kreuzschlitzschrauben heraus.

Entferne genauso die zwei schwarzen 7 mm Schrauben.

Entlöte die beiden Enden der grünen Bluetooth Platine mit einem Lötkolben.
Great instructions here guys - just one comment from myself - underneath the plate there is glue holding it down as well as the solder joints. Be sure to heat it up slightly prior to lifting out otherwise the capacitors and other components get stuck in the glue.
bei mir sieht der blootooth-adapter anders aus. da muss ich nix löten, er ist klein und liegt nur in einer passenden mulde, aus der er herausgehoben und in die er wieder abgelegt werden kann. meine typbezeichnung ist S-00122.
Definitely start with the middle one, has 2 solder hinge points that took me a couple minutes to heat up, wiggle and finally lift up. One that side lifted, was much easier to go back to the edge hinge, heat up and just gently pull off.
It is importante to note that there are two large solder hinge points and for the midle to pin point. Easy to desoldering but not easy to soldering after battery replacement.

Öffne die Rasten an der Lautsprecherhülle auf ganzer Länge mit dem Metallspatel.

Löse die Hülle mit einem Plastiköffnungswerkzeug vom Boden des Lautsprechers.
Zuerst auf der Gegenseite zuerst den Deckel, dann die Hülle lösen. Erst am Ende die Seite mit dem Power Button.
Translation: First loosen the cover on the opposite side, then the cover. Only at the end the page with the power button.

A tips that could be help lot of us. i consider it what not easy to pry the sleeve off. But in fact there are many hole around the side that could be used to push through the holes, the plastic ring retainer.

Entferne die 9,9 mm Kreuzschlitzschraube #2 von der größeren Platine, welche den Lautsprecher umschließt.

Obviously they're not answering the main question where do you get the part. I sure went through a lot of trouble to stop there
iFixit can't offer every possible part need and the manufacture is the primary entity for parts.
For many years you could depend on the makers to offer spares some even going back 25 years! Today its bad real bad! 5 years is about it some even less or they just don't offer repair options at all. True the cost of the device also plays a role here as well.
The only option is to find a dead device to raid it for its parts when you can or hope someone picks up the challenge to create the part independently! That works with popular devices and parts like batteries.

This is a one way street. Don’t bother even trying unless you have tremendous patience.
Useless info about replacing the USB.
So if i call Logitech and tell them the problem would they replace my megaboom or fix it for me. Cause, mine fell with the charger connected and when it started flying (fell out the window about 3 ft high) it disconnected and broke the USB port on the speaker. Now i ended up throwing away my speakers charging cable but i still have the base it connects to.
Looking for link to purchase replacement USB charging plate/cover for UE Boom.

Hi - My UE Boom isn’t charging and isn’t turning on at all. Did anyone change the USD port and have it fix a problem like this?
Or do I need to change the battery too?
I would hate to take it apart, attempt to fix the USB and then find out that that wasn’t the issue. :)
