Moka Pot Gasket Replacement

Einleitung

If coffee keeps spilling out of your Moka pot and won’t stay in properly, then it’s probably missing a gasket or the gasket itself is too old and needs to be replaced. Replacing a decaying gasket is essential to prevent any leaks or spills. A rubber gasket should be replaced every six months to properly maintain the Moka pot.

    • Disassemble the Moka pot by twisting the top counter-clockwise.

    • Take out the filter.

    • Find the rubber gasket underneath.

    • Take the rubber gasket off by rolling it all the way down.

    • Insert the new gasket by rolling it all the way up.

    • Make sure the new gasket is secure by straightening it out at the top of the filter.
