Motorola Droid 4 SIM Card Replacement

The SIM card stores important information on your phone. You should handle it with care when you are using this guide.

You will need to remove several torx head screws. Make sure to use the correct type.

    • Insert the rear cover removal tool, or a paper clip, in the hole near the back camera lens.

    • Slide the cover down to remove.

    • Using tweezers or your finger, lift the rubber SIM card cover to expose the card itself.

    • While holding the cover open, use your finger to press and slide out the SIM card.

    • When reinserting the SIM card, make sure the SIM card is oriented in the correct direction, according to the illustration on the device, and that the metal contact area of the card is facing down.
