If your camera is not turning on or reacting to anything you do, follow this guide on how to change the batteries.

Orientate the camera so that the lens is pointing left. The battery door is located on the bottom of the camera.

To unlock the battery door slide the switch on the battery door to the right.

Slide the battery door towards you and lift to open.

Remove four AA batteries one by one from the camera, making note of the proper alignment.
