This guide is for the Olympus Stylus 1030 SW. The goal for this guide is to replace the battery latch door. The battery latch door secures the battery in the camera. Be cautious of a swollen battery.

    • Open the battery latch.

    • Remove the battery from the compartment.

    • The battery could be swollen. If the battery is swollen, remove with gloves and responsibly dispose of the battery.

    • Use tweezers to grip the round bar. Pull it towards you to remove.

    • The bar removed will be 3cm long.
