PDP Afterglow Fener Speaker Replacement

Einleitung

First we are going to take apart the headset to be able to access the speaker. Then we are going to unsolder the wires, take out the broken speaker, put in the new speaker and then solder the wires to the new speaker. WARNING soldering skills needed.

Gently pull off your left and right ear pad. For further instructions on how to carefully do this please go to this guide here.
For each of the red circled screws, take your J000 screwdriver and unscrew the screws.
This is a picture of what your headset looks like now that you have done the first two steps.
Remove the wire connected in the red box by gently pulling it off.

Take your soldering iron and unsolder the wire from the speaker.
The red square is the left tip and the orange square is the right tip.
Before wiring your new speaker in, clean the left and right tips with your soldering iron.
