    • Remove the four grip screws with a 5/64" Allen wrench. There are two screws on each side of the marker.

    • On the battery side of the marker, unscrew the other eye cover with a 5/64" Allen wrench to remove the eye cover.

    • Pull the red and black eye sensor wires to disconnect the plug from the control board.

    • On the battery side of the marker, grasp the plug to remove the red and black eye sensor wires.

    • With the new eye, pass the plug in between the solenoid and the grip frame.

    • Orient the plug to align with the male receptors of the control board and click into place.

    • Grasp the black eye sensor wire and pull it completely through and out of the grip frame on the battery side.

    • Keep the black eye sensor wire out of the way until step 13.

    • Orient the sensor with the flat side facing up.

    • On the battery side of the marker, place the red eye sensor wire into the slot of the marker.

    • Set the eye cover into the slot and secure with the eye cover screw using a 5/64" Allen wrench.

    • Ensure the wires are not pinched between the eye cover and the marker.

    • On the battery side of the marker, push the black eye sensor wire through the grip frame and under the solenoid.

    • On the non-battery side of the marker, pull through the black eye sensor wire completely.

    • Orient the sensor with the flat side facing up.

    • On the non-battery side of the marker, place the black eye sensor wire into the slot of the marker.

    • Set the eye cover into the slot and secure with the eye cover screw using a 5/64" Allen wrench.

    • Reinstall the rubber grip.
