RIDGID R32104 Motor Brush Replacement

There are many issues that can be caused by a faulty motor brush. If you begin to hear banging sounds coming from the motor, this could be caused by the motor brush. Fortunately, a motor brush is one of the easiest parts to replace due to is accessibility. All you need is a standard flathead screwdriver to remove a cap.

    • Turn off your saw and unplug before starting.

    • Place down the Worm Drive Saw on a sturdy surface.

    • The motor brush cap is located on the side of the main housing assembly, it can be identified as a large black plastic cap with a slit running down its surface.

    • Using a flathead screwdriver, remove the motor brush cap from the main housing assembly.

    • With the cap removed, the motor brush should now be accessible.

    • Carefully remove the motor brush by sliding it out of the main housing assembly.
