Sometimes, the DSC-RX100 shows an error message after you turn the camera on: "Turn Camera off then on"
The reason behind this error message is unknown and not documented within the manual. This is a workaround to get the camera back to work.

1) Remove the bottom aperture and try to turn the camera on. In my case the optical module moved as expected. I've no idea what kind of interaction happend ther, but to remove it was my solution. Feel free to post your experiences.
