SONY MVC-FD200 Battery Replacement

This guide will show you how to replace the battery in a SONY MVC-FD200 camera. Whether you have a faulty battery, or would simply like to carry around a few extra for an extended outing, this guide will show you how to switch them out. Before you begin, make sure to turn off the camera.

Using your finger, slide the tab on the battery door up to release the battery latch.

Lift the battery door to reveal the battery compartment.
Push the gray lever to the left side to remove the battery.
