Before starting replacement, turn of the device and disconnect all cords.
Close the device, lay it face down, and remove the battery.

Open the device with the keyboard and screen showing.

Grab the edge of the keyboard and use a plastic opening tool to pry the keyboard upward and out.
Use force until the keyboard pops off from the device's main frame.
