Einleitung
If your Shark Apex DuoClean Powered Lift-Away (Model-AZ1002) is experiencing low suction, then follow the steps of this repair guide. The hose of the vacuum is the main part of the vacuum for suction. The low suction may be due to the clogged hose, the dust cup being full, or even if your vacuum is overheating. Everything listed in the steps is meant to be removed or opened for easy access. There won’t be any screws or special skills involved.

Use the handle to tilt the dust cup away from the wand, then lift upwards to fully free the dust cup.

Hold the duct cup over a trash bin.

Press the button at the base of the cup to release the door.

Push the button at the top of the dust cup to release the lid.

Use the handle to open it.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. Everything will snap back into place with a click.
