The dust cup acts as a filter for the debris and is a crucial component for the vacuum. This guide will show a step-by-step procedure to properly remove the dust cup.

Press down on the black, rubber ballish button located on the top of the vacuum.

Pull back simultaneous on the plastic handle and remove the dust container.

Press the plastic tab in, located on the front of the dust container.

Pull up simultaneously on the plastic handle.

Push in the red tab located on the side of the dust cup.

Open the dust cup simultaneously with the cone-half pointing downwards.

Separate the two halves.
