Einleitung
This is a how-to guide on replacing the front and back case of a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC W690. This case may need to changed or replaced if damage has occurred to the outside of the camera, to access internal units, or to upgrade the external cosmetics. This is a simple procedure.

Remove all six 3 mm screws from the outside of the camera using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Carefully pry the case apart by pulling the front and back sides in opposite directions.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order; screwing the small screws in a clockwise manner.
