Toshiba Satellite C55-C5268 Battery Replacement

Einleitung

The battery of the Toshiba Satellite is located on the bottom of the laptop, near where the screen attaches to the base. It is held in place by two Phillips head screws which need to be removed in order to remove the battery. The iFixit toolkit size PH1 bit will fit.

    • Unplug and power off the laptop.

    • Unscrew the two 9 mm Phillips #1screws holding the battery in place.

    • Grab the battery and pull it away from the laptop to remove it.

    • This doesn't require a lot of effort, so you don't have to pull too hard.

Thanks, l think my battery is dead, charged it for 12 hours and base never got hot, not charging, right? Computer does not come on at all.
